Updates
Lumen checks GitHub Releases on launch and about every six hours. When a newer version exists, the title bar shows Update to x.y.z.
What happens when you update
Section titled “What happens when you update”| Platform | Behavior |

| Linux (AppImage) | Downloads the new AppImage over the installed one and relaunches |
| Windows | Unpacks beside the install and swaps folders once Lumen exits, so shortcuts stay valid |
| Other / fallback | Opens the release page in your browser |
Pin an install version
Section titled “Pin an install version”Use the same install command with a version env var — see Installation. That only affects the install you run; later in-app updates still follow the latest release unless you pin again.
